The Sports Club
The club stretches over an area of 108 Feddans. All its facilities
have been operating since day one as is the case with the whole of Al Rehab.
The club consists of:-
1- A professional football field
2- A pentagon football field
3- Two basketball courts
4- Two handball courts
5- Two volleyball courts
6- Eight tennis courts
7- A 1-km track
8- A sports building that comprises :
• 2 squash courts.
• Air conditioned table tennis courts equipped with
5 tables.
• A gymnasium that offers the latest and most
advanced equipment.
That in addition to the wide terrace, above the social building, which
overlooks most of the club’s fields. To assure proper guidance, Mahmoud El
Khateeb has been assigned to supervise the sports activities at the club.
You will also find two swimming pools, a normal-sized one and an Olympian one
with no less than 1500 meters of water. The Metalite lighting system is used in
accordance with international specifications. Every swimming pool has its own
changing rooms and water boilers..
A covered court has been built for the practice of handball, basketball and
volleyball. A gymnastics court is also available and accepts members at the age
of 4. The children train for a year or two to develop flexibility, then move to
tennis, handball, volley or basket.
The club has a mosque that can take up to 300 people.
The security factor
has not been overlooked.
